Science investigation

Prep children have been learning how to use the many technologies that support learning in Prep.  Here they were experimenting with digital cameras whilst exploring an unfamiliar part of our school.

After practising and taking many photos, we then identified and listed the things we could observe in the photos.  We began to question whether the objects in the photos were 'living' or 'non living'.  We used questions to help us decide.

Can the objects grow?  Will they die?

  1. I wonder if Prep children can figure out which of these images are 'living' and which are 'non living'?
